Privacy notice

Information we collect

When you contact South Downs Film Makers, we collect the name, email address, subject and message you provide, together with limited technical information needed to protect the website.

How we use it

We use this information to respond to your enquiry, administer club activities and protect the website from misuse.

Spam prevention

Contact-form submissions are checked by Google reCAPTCHA and may be processed by OpenAI solely to identify unsolicited marketing, scams and other spam. The name, email address, subject and message you submit may be sent to OpenAI for that purpose. Messages identified as spam are retained in a separate review mailbox rather than sent to the club's main contact inbox.

Retention and your rights

We retain enquiry and security information only for as long as reasonably required. You may ask about, correct or object to our use of your personal information by contacting the club.
